Michael Cyra is a nationally-known fine-art photographer and painter living in Charleston, SC. With his camera, Michael is a gifted story teller who captures moments and transforms them into lasting memories. His personality makes him easy to work with and his sense of humor helps evoke the smiles and emotion evident in his photography. Michael is originally from Wisconsin where he earned a marketing degree from the University of Wisconsin Madison, and later an MBA from Wake Forest University.
When you work with Michael, you’re working with an artist. Whether he is photographing a family on the beach, a wedding at the resort, a beautiful landscape, or a luxury home, he is constantly evaluating light, color, personalities and the beauty of the image he sees in his mind’s eye. When Michael isn’t behind his camera, you’ll find him painting en plein air, riding his bikes or whipping up a new recipe in the kitchen.
