Indigo Park Community on Kiawah Island

The first LEED Certified Community of its kind right here on Kiawah Island
Introducing Indigo Park by Dyal Compass

When Candace Dyal approached me to photograph the building of these Platinum LEED certified homes on Kiawah, I was thrilled. These homes truly represent a new way of living using the highest grade earth–friendly, sustainable materials available. Now I’m motivated to recycle more and save energy. Moreover, I’m even introducing “green” into my fine-art projects using reclaimed barn wood for my wood carvings and eco-friendly frames for my paintings.

Keep an eye on this project especially since the recent announcement of the 2013 HGTV Green House Giveaway.

I have been exploring the Indigo park and it is a very beautiful community and have enjoyed everything that I am learning about it. The pictures are beautiful – nature – family – things to do – history – tranquillity… Thank you for sharing.

I just saw the dream home on HGTV and of course I signed up! What a beautiful home and place! It looks like the perfect place to raise our family.
