Golden Hour Photography on Seabrook Island
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade! This age old saying has complete truth here. The weather has kind of been all over the place. From really hot and humid days, to days that are filled with rain, thunderstorms and wind, you never really know what the weather is going to look like or what to expect. Well, the night of their session we had to end up cancelling due to rain. It’s always a bummer when this happens, but Mother Nature has a mind of her own. Luckily, we were able to reschedule, and sneak in a session the next night, and this was the result. An amazing night with even better lighting. I photographed this beautiful, photogenic family until the sun was almost completely down. But how could I not? Everywhere we turned there was a gorgeous landscape and sky. The end result: beautiful family portraits.
It is in these moments that I really feel so happy to be able to spend so much time on Kiawah and Seabrook Island. Beautiful landscapes, nature, and great people. Win, win, win.
They went with shades of blues and greens, with white and creams as the base color for their coordinating outfits and it looks stunning with their landscape. It is the perfect mix of small prints and solids and color and basics. I especially love their outfits in the shady / grass area (as seen below).
